1) What did you learn about photography that you did not know before?
2) What did you learn about yourself this semester?
3) What do you wish we had done that we did not?
4) What was your struggle?
5) What did you conquer?
1) I learned a lot during this semester of photo. I learned a ton of useful things for using photo shop. I also learned how to develop photos in the dark room and how to take a lot of different types of photos; like blurred ones, or ones with different lighting.
2) I learned not to procrastinate on large projects and to use my time wisely during class. I also learned that I really do enjoy taking pictures, especially with a film camera. I didn't think that I would like this class when I first saw that I had it on my schedule but now that the semester is over I'm really happy I stayed in this class because I really really liked it.
3) I wish that we did more work in the dark room and with our film cameras because they are so hard to find now-a-days and I found a pretty good one so I wish I got to use it a little more. I also wish we did less work on photo shop because it can get really complicated.
4) Some of my struggles were getting photos done and turned in on time and trying to keep up with photo shop. I think that you moved really fast on to each project and it would have been really helpful and more rewarding to go slower and take our time on each project instead of rushing to get them done, because I know some of my projects weren't my best quality. Also it would have been helpful to have like step-by-step directions for each project so if you forgot something or you were gone you could look back easily and get caught up. Another thing was it was hard to finish them because you can't work on them at home because I don't have photo shop.
5) I conquered a lot in this class. Like learning how to use a film camera and how to work in a dark room. I think that these skills will be very helpful later in life and it is such a cool skill to have sense film cameras aren't very popular anymore.
