Self Portraits
I think these pictures say that I am a happy person who likes to
smile. Also that I am confident in my own skin and
that I like to take pictures of myself.
Portrait Project
I took pictures of my mom at my house because she is honestly my role model
and she would do anything to help me. These pictures were taken around
8 o'clock at night.

Web Assignment #5: Beauty
Question: How would you define beauty in photography? What are the characteristics of beauty? How can something ugly be photographed and be considered beautiful? Or can it? Examples?
Answer: I would define beauty in a photograph as anything that really catches your eye. Everyone has a different view of beauty. But some characteristics of beauty that I think are something that sends a message without any words and something that just really pops out at you. Something ugly when photographed that can be considered beautiful happens when you can just feel/see what the photographer is trying to get across with the picture.
example- i think this is a beautiful photograph because it really sends a message about what he/she was trying to say when taking the picture. |

I like how blue the lettering is and how faded the bottom is. I could have centered it and or cropped it more. |
I like how the eye is such an indescribable color and how pretty her eyelashes look. I could have blurred around the eye more. |
I really like how everything is so blurred out and then all you see is the yellow/orange leaf. I could have edited out the blue blob next to the leaf. |
I like how green the leafs are and how they really stand out. I could have gotten closer to the leaf or zoomed in more. |
I like how green the leafs are and how its the main focus of the picture. I could have darkened the background to make the leafs really pop out. |
I like how every other cookie is blurred out, except for one. I could have darkened the other cookies to make the one cookie in focus stand out more. |
I like how blue the bears eyes are. I could have blurred something out on it to make the eyes really pop. |
